Ladies and Gentlemen, dear friends of acupuncture and related techniques, the Symposium's Organising Committee warmly invites you to come and get to know the hospitality of people in the Czech Republic and see Prague, the beautiful city of history, culture and modern life, listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage site.

Sixteen years ago many of us met in the then communist Czechoslovakia at the ICMART 88 3rd World Congress of Scientific Acupuncture, Prague, and we believe that those who remember that event – and not only they – are curious to see how our country and Prague, its capital, have changed since then.

Only ample participation of you, acupuncturist-physicians from all continents, and your pro-active approach to the Symposium, can effectively contribute to guaranteeing both a high professional standard and a friendly atmosphere to be remembered with pleasure.

We are ready to do our best to create for you the best possible conditions for scientific meetings as well as for the social programme, and we hope you will stay in our country longer than just for the Symposium.

Dear Colleagues, if any change has taken place in your Society's leadership, please, let us know the new postal and e-mail addresses by sending such details to the symposium organiser's address above. We would also like to ask you to be so kind and put this information on your Society's web site and in your scientific/professional journals and, if possible, circulate it to the e-mail addresses of the members of your Acupuncture Society. Next we would like to kindly ask you for the post address database of your members by reason of mailing our First Announcement.
We are looking forward to meeting.

Yours faithfully,
Frantisek Para Ladislav Fildan
representing the organising Czech Medical Acupuncture Society
